A new definition of 'indifferent'

Jonathan Agnew and Matthew Hayden have just agreed on Five Live that Monty Panesar has had an 'indifferent' season. I thought I would check out just how indifferent it has been. Monty has actually taken eight wickets in eight matches for Northamptonshire at an average of 73. This is not just indifferent, this is calamitous.

This didn't stop Hayden calling for the Oval to be turned into a raging bunsen for the fifth Test, and Monty to be recalled to work his magic in partnership with Graeme Swann. If Monty can bowl out the Aussies with that kind of form behind him, I will eat my replica one-day England cap.
