A true all-round performance

I've just been catching up on this week's cricket, and I thought I would draw your attention to Sussex's 152-run win over Nottinghamshire in the Pro40 on Monday night. You may have missed it.

Dwayne Smith (right) was the man. Such was the immensity of his performance that even the huge margin of victory was relegated to the status of a minor talking point.

First he spanked 27 off 21 balls including two sixes as Sussex racked up an imposing total of 254.

He then took 6-29 off 7 overs, including a hat-trick and four wickets in an over, as Nottinghamshire were shot out for just 102.

I've never hit a six. Not one. How wonderful it would feel to have the outrageous talent of Dwayne Smith.
